The PROTECTOR™ silicone electrical conduit is designed for use in high-temperature areas, with a temperature resistance of up to +300°C (silicone) and +500°C (aramid). It is ideal for converters, rectifiers, induction melting furnaces and induction heating systems.

With a dielectric strength in accordance with VDE 03030 (>40 kV) and arc resistance in accordance with VDE 0441 (80-100 seconds), the conduit offers a high level of safety and reliability. Its ozone resistance also ensures a longer service life and slower material ageing

Material and properties:

  • Core: The core of the hose is made of high-quality silicone, which is known for its high temperature resistance and flexibility.
  • Print carrier: The print carrier consists of temperature-resistant aramid yarns, which guarantee high mechanical strength and resistance to abrasion and temperature.
  • Cover: The cover of the hose is also made of red silicone and is both UV and weather-resistant. It is also abrasion-resistant and therefore ensures a long service life.
